I got this email a few minutes ago:

This is my last and final reminder that you have not completed the Plagiarism Tutorial
exercise that is required of all first-year and transfer students. Please go to
https://plagiarism.duke.edu/ and complete the Tutorial and interactive exercise. If you do not complete these by October 29, you will be blocked from spring 2009 course registration.

Yeah, this was the first time I heard about the plagiarism tutorial, I think I’ve only received one email concerning registration before. But yeah, wow. Had I not checked my email I would’ve been blocked =/.

Boris told me all the answers to the scenarios in the quiz were “plagiarism,” so I followed his advice, and got this message at the end:

We noticed that you took less than 30 seconds to complete this exercise. Are you sure that you carefully considered each scenario before selecting your response? We encourage you to review the vignettes and your answers by revisiting this section of the Plagiarism Tutorial.
